"Armenians & Turks: Challenges & New Paths Forward Toward Reconciliation

Join the Chair of our evening, Dr. Jay Pope, who will be exploring the challenges and opportunities of reconciliation. Joining him will be several Turkish leaders/educators as well as several local leaders in the area of reconciliation.

Dr. Pope will be speaking on: “An Overview of Forgiveness and its Religious and Psychological Implications.” Jay is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Fresno Pacific University

In addition to several Turkish leaders/educators, our local Fresno panelists will include:

Kathleen Chavoor-Bergen will be speaking on “Behavioral and Unconscious Experience and Expressions of Multigenerational Collective Trauma.” Kathleen is a school therapist in Fresno Unified School District)

Noelle (Daoudian) Nightingale will be speaking on “Bringing about Recognition and Reconciliation.” Noelle is the President and co-owner of Nightingale Dispute Consultants and works as a mediator, conflict resolution trainer, and facilitator for families, marriages, businesses and churches

ATPI Reconciliation Lunch for Pastors & Ministry Leaders...

This is a luncheon meeting for area pastors and ministry leaders interested in talking about reconciliation and all that God's doing to transform hearts in Turkey, with a group of eight Turkish church leaders from around Turkey as well as a number of Armenian pastors and community leaders. Join us at FAPC on Monday evening to hear about the state of the church in Turkey from an Armenian believer born and raised in Istanbul. Joining him will be seven Turkish believers from various cities in Turkey who will also talk about the church in Turkey. This is an open event, so please feel free to bring family and friends.

ATPI Fresno Gathering: "Turkish Christians Share Their Hearts"

Join us on Saturday evening, October 1st, at FAPC, as we gather the Armenian community for Fresno's second ATPI gathering where group of eight Turkish church leaders from around Turkey will come and reflect and dialogue together regarding all God is doing to transform hearts in Turkey. This is an open event sponsored by ATPI and FAPC. Your friends and family are all welcome to attend.

TIME:  The event begins with a 6:30pm dinner though you're welcome to come at 5:30pm for mezza.  Please RSVP at atpifresno@gmail.com or send a text or call 559-246-5546 with your first/last name and phone number. A free-will offering will be taken to help cover the cost of the meal.
